Während dem finalen Panel mit Stephen und David Ramsey nahm ich auch allen meinen Mut zusammen und ging zum Mikrofon um den beiden zu sagen, wie beeindruckt ich von deren Bodenständigkeit bin, und den Wohltätigkeits-Zwecken, die die zwei unabhängig voneinander vorantreiben. Meine Knie haben selten so gezittert, wie in diesem Moment, als sie mich anschauen und ich das in aller Nervosität von mir gebe. Selbige legte sich minimal als ich recht viel Applaus von den anderen Gästen zu diesem Statement bekomme. Das Fangirl in mir jedenfalls war restlos happy.

I honestly thought my convention days are over. Well, think again. My new passion (okay, has been for about 2 years now) is called "Arrow". It all started during my time in my old job when things got worse and worse. "Arrow" was my way of staying sane, because the show had me hooked from episode 1. And when I heard that a Arrow/Flash/Gotham convention was coming to Birmingham, I decided to go and bought a ticket. And so, on 16th of May 2015, I travelled to Birmingham to the NEC yet once again to the convention called "City of Heroes" and amongst others I met Stephen Amell.
During the final panel with Stephen and David Ramsey I got together all my courage and walked up to the microphone to tell them both how amazed I am by how down-to-earth they are, and the way the invest in and drive charities and charitable causes. My knees were shaking so bad, like they hardly ever have, when those two were looking directly at me while I was babbling this in all my nervousness. Which got a bit better when I received a lot of applause for my statement. The fangirl in me however was completely happy when both Stephen and David thanked me.

Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Convention, die Gäste von Arrow und Flash waren super unterhaltsam, auch die von Gotham hatten durchaus interessante Geschichten zu erzählen. Einzig Jason Momoa war eine ziemliche Enttäuschung, da er irgendwie mehr an Trinken Interesse zu haben schien als an allem anderen. Tjaja, die "Stars" halt, ne? Aber immerhin hab ich ein Foto mit Stephen ergattert und ich glaub ich hab Brandon Routh etwas bei der Autogrammstunde in Verlegenheit gebracht als ich ihm gesagt hab, was für ein strahlendes Lächeln er hat. Das Foto mit David, das gleich zu sehen sein wird, ist eigentlich von einer anderen Convention, aber ich finde, hier passt es dennoch gut rein. Und wie zu erwarten war, auch dies war nicht meine letzte Convention *grins*

All in all I can say it was a lovely convention, the guests from Arrow and Flash were super funny, and the folks from Gotham also had some interesting stories. Only Jason Momoa was a disappointment as he seemed to be only interested in booze rather than anything else. Oh well, the "stars", ey? But at least I got a pic with Stephen and I think I made Brandon Routh blush a little bit when I told him he has such da dazzling smile. The picture with David which you will see in a second is not from this convention, to be honest, but I figured it fits here perfectly. Last but not least, as it was to be expected, this convention also was not my last *grins*
